This was the first Queen of the Ring Tournament. A 12-woman double elimination tournament with the GWF woman's title on the line in each match.

Thrash had to be beaten twice since it isdouble elimination and she had yet to lose. Dementia and Thrash fought to a double disqualification in the first fall resulting in it being declared a draw. In the sudden death fall Dementia survived a pounding and regained her GWF Title and won the QOTR.
