BATTLE ROYAL MANIA

card #800
Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars

The minds at Galaxian Wrestling Federation headquarters have come up with what will prove to be the greatest event in professional wrestling history. In honor of the GWF's 800th wrestling card, commissioners Omega and Morpheus have put together the biggest pay-per view spectacular ever.

Upcoming events included the Royal Rumble, Battle Bowl and Galacticmania V. Taking the best from each of these shows, Omega and Morpheus are proud to announce that Battle Royal Mania will take place Sunday, November 15, from the Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars.

This is an event for the ages. It will recognize all the achievements of the GWF over the years. Special ceremonies will be held for the newest inductees to the Hall of Fame, the Ani-Men, the Exo-King and Solaris. All nine of the current GWF title holders will be introduced. It is an event open to any wrestler from any promotion in the galaxy. Wrestlers have been signed from the SWA and the WGX. A total of 102 wrestlers will be in competition.

The lineup features four battle royales and four title matches. The top 10 cruiserweights will compete in a battle royal, a 20-woman battle royal, 30 men have entered the Royal Rumble. 32 wrestlers will compete in eight random paired tag-team matches, with the winners advancing to a 16-man battle royal.

The Galaxian heavyweight title will be defended by Colossus against Pegasus. The Rebel Empire put the GWF tag-team titles on the line against the former champions the Theater of Pain. Archon will defend the GWF Cruiserweight title against Blacklash, who previously won a 20-man cruiserweight battle royal. The executive committe has agreed to allow the CPC cruiserweight title be defended by Skinhead against the Mad Jester. No other CPC titles matches will be sanctioned, as this is a GWF event, and renegade turncoat wrestlers will not be highlighted.

Omega and Morpheus hope that the GWF superstars will use this event to take stock of themselves and renew the fight against the CPC. To look back at the legends that have gone before, to see the bright young stars of today, and bask in the spotlight of today.

That deafening roar you are experiencing is the sound of over 200,000 fans jam packed into the Deimos Intergalactic Arena, for what promises to be the greatest wrestling event of all-time. Hello everyone, I'm Johnny Rocket welcoming you to BATTLE ROYAL MANIA!

Let's get right to it by going down to ringside to Terrence "Fog" Horn.

Ladies and gentleman. Coming down the aisle, the commissioners of the Galaxian Wrestling Federation and two of the greats to ever step in the ring, Omega and Morpheus!

OMEGA (O): Thank you everyone. It is my distinct priveledge, with Morpheus, to bring you Battle Royal Mania, the 800th card in GWF history.

MORPHEUS (M): That's right. It will be without a doubt the greatest show ever. We want to recognize right now the newest inductees to the GWF Hall of Fame. One of the great wrestlers of all-time, he held every title the GWF had to offer during his career, the Exo-King.

O: A good friend of mine, one of the sports great managers and one of the hardest workers behind the scenes, Solaris. And, two men he managed. The Incredible Badger and Battering Ram, the Ani-Men.

M: We also want to recognize the longest active wrestlers today. The Creeper, Mutant, Pulsar, Vanity, Wolf, and Dreadnaught.

O: Finally, we want to bring to the ring the current GWF title holders. The Television champion Blazing Skull, Interplanetary champion Heracles, Cruiserweight champion Archon, Interplanetary tag-team champions Death's Head and Erebus, the Lower World. The Six-Man tag-team champs are already here, the Lower World and Blazing Skull. The GWF woman's champion Rhea. The GWF tag-team champions Vendetta and Nefarus the Rebel Empire. And, the unified GWF steel cage and heavyweight champion Colossus.

ROCKET (R): A great way to kick off the show, bringing out the greats of today and yesterday. Now, I'll be busy with my men and doing interviews tonight, so doing commentary are two former GWF superstars. Lance At-Las and Massacre!

LANCE (L): It's great to be back Johnny. I know this man beside quite well, and like him I'd like to be back in the ring again.

MASSACRE (MASS.): Maybe you and I should step back inside the squared circle. I'll keep you straight Lance and we'll be alright up here.

L: Our first match is the ladies battle royal.

What a sight, 19 women start to fight at the sound of the bell. Ms. Liberty and Dementia, a former GWF women's champion square off. Look, Thrash has already eliminated Bloody Mary. Tiger Mask hits a couple big moves on the Rhinestone Cowgirl and throws her out of the ring. The Draconian Chic and Mistress DeSade are pounding away, and the Chic flips her out. Amazonia had no trouble getting rid of Kay Fabe. Now Rhea and Maxine Babe fight each other. Maim fights off Velar and knocks her out of the ring with a clothesline. Cassandra and the newcomer Heart are going at it. Heart is the first cousin of the U.S. Patriot and was introduced to Jack of Diamonds by Liberty, and Heart and Jack are now engaged to be married. Super Nova is really taking it to Melody. Melody is the first female wrestler from the Pleiades System, where the Theatre of Pain and Polarity hail from.

Liberty has moved to attack Thrash. Amazonia is hit from behind, but she recovers and throws out Anaxis. Rhea overpowers Maxine Babe and tosses her. Maim and the Chic are really going toe-to-toe. Maim is another newcomer from the SWA and she has already captured the CPC Woman's title. Heart takes over on Cassandra. Super Nova hits Tiger Mask from behind and eliminates her.Thrash fights back and gets rid of Ms. Liberty. Amazonia fights off Dementia, while Rhea ousts Cassandra.

Maim and the Draconian Chic continue to fight. That Chic takes after her uncle the Draconian Sheik, but that is just a rumor, no confirmation of its validity. Heart has eliminated Melody. Thrash and Super Nova are duking it out, while Amazonia takes on the GWF Woman's champion Rhea. Maim jumps Thrash and super kicks her out of the ring. Dementia dominates Heart. Maim and Super Nova go back-and-forth. The Chic hits Rhea, but the champ throws her out easily.

Amazonia pearl harbors Rhea, but again Rhea's strength allows her to eliminate Amazonia. Dementia and Heart are still fighting, while the two woman's champions Rhea and Maim face off. Super Nova and Heart begin to double team Dementia. Maim is holding her own against Rhea as Nova tosses Dementia.

Nova and Rhea square off, while Maim takes on Heart. We're down to the final four. Heart doing great in her wrestling debut. But Maim throws her out no sweat and joins Nova fighting Rhea. They double team Rhea and Nova gets her over the top rope. Down to two, and Super Nova nails her with the Tilt-a-whirl slam and is able to throw Maim out to win the ladies battle royal.

R: We're backstage with Super Nova. A tremendous win for you in the battle royal, how do you feel?

SUPERNOVA: I feel great. Just to be here for this anniversary event with all my family, and then to win that battle royal is just too much. I'm proud to be a former GWF woman's champion and look forward to getting it back again. I'll always be extra proud that I was the first ever woman's title holder.

L: We're ready for the first drawing of wrestlers to begin tag-team matches in the battle bowl series. The winning teams advance to another battle royal later tonight. The first name drawn by Omega is - Halcon Oro. A good looking newcomer to the cruiserweight division. His partner will be the Creeper! The Creeper is the man. Their opponents will be Hammer, one half of the Stormtroopers, and Homicide.

The Creeper starts the match and is in trouble right away. Hammer has the advantage and tags Homicide. Homicide tosses him on the floor, but misses a suicide dive. The Creeper hits a piledriver, skullcracker, and his patented heart punch before getting a 2-count. He tags Oro, and the huricarana gets them the win.

MASS.: If the Creeper is still wrestling I should be. But they got the job done in this one.

L: Omega's ready to draw the next pairing as we look in the locker room at the assembled wrestlers waiting to hear their name. Brainstorm will team with Grunge. I don't believe it. Johnny Rocket gets two of his guys together, they should have a big advantage. They will face Maxx Juice, a member of the nGo in a minor federatin and his partner is Holocaust. Holocaust makes his return to the GWF after competing in the WGX most recently.

Holocaust's power quickly gives him the advanage over Grunge. Juice comes in and Grunge squirms loose from the choke slam and takes over on offense. Juice though is too strong, and beats on Brainstorm. Holocaust continues the punishment and gets an easy three on Brainstorm.

L: I hope Holocaust comes back to the GWF soon. He has so much potential but has yet to realize it.

Morpheus will draw the next match. Blizzard will team up with Blade. Not a bad team. Powerhouse will join forces with Karah.

Blizzard attacks Powerhouse and they spill to the outside. Blizzard seems to be totally out of control and is disqualified, giving Powerhouse and Karah the dupe without any tags being made.

L: The next name Morpheus draws is the Dragonmaster. His partner will be ... Vyper! How can Dragonmaster team up with someone who caused him and the Titans so much trouble for so long now. They will meet Mutant and Gunner, a cruiserweight from the SWA.

Vyper starts the match, and you can tell Dragonmaster and Lord Nexus at ringside are not happy. Vyper fights both Gunner and Mutant before getting the Mutant in a compromising position. He then gestures to tag Dragonmaster, who reluctantly does so. Gunner gets back in and has DM in trouble. The Titan won't tag Vyper for help. Gunner misses a shooting star press, and a pair of Cobra Nerve Stoppers wins the match for Dragonmaster and Vyper.

MASS: Alright, back to the battle royals. These little guys shouldn't even bother with this type of match.

The top-10 cruiserweight's in the ring. Comet Kid of the SWA is all over Rising Sun. Bishop Hell blasts Sleeze with the Hellfire but can't eliminate him. El Pantera Negro is controlling Scion Nexus. Lycosa and Wildcat are fighting, and Dagger Mack hits Enigma with a loaded glove and throws him out to the floor.

Rising Sun rallies to toss Comet Kid from the ring. Sleeze and R. Sun then go at it and Negro and S. Nexus are still fighting. Lycosa jumps in to attack Negro. Dagger Mack's Backstab hits Wildcat and Lycosa, eliminating both of them. R. Sun dumps out Sleeze and Mack and B. Hell go at it. R. Sun saves S. Nexus, but accidentally knocks both him and Negro out.

We're down to three. R. Sun helps Mack against B. Hell, but Mack just steps back. B. Hell comes back and Mack just stands there. R. Sun then jumps on D. Mack. Mack comes back as B. Hell looks on recovering. D. Mack dumps R. Sun so it's down to two.

It's back-and-forth with Mack using foreign objects and B. Hell the Hellfire. D. Mack finally eliminates B. Hell to claim victory. R. Sun and D. Mack were the only two wrestlers that threw anybody out of the ring. Dagger Mack is now you're No. 1 contender for the cruiserweight title.

MASS: That was pretty good for the little guys.

L: CPC Commissioner Grogan will draw for the next match. Death's Head, one-half of the Interplanetary tag-team champions will team up with Deathlord. Another young superstar debuting tonight. They will face Vanity and Solar Hawk of the SWA.

Death's Head starts it off then tags Deathlord. Vanity gets away and Solar Hawk takes over. Death's Head makes the pin save and Deathlord gets away to tag him in. Another Torture Rack puts away D. Head and Vanity and Solar Hawk will be in Battle Bowl. Deathlord didn't get to show us very much in this short match.

L: Solaris will reach into the hat and pulls out the team of Kati and Talisman. They will face Talon and Preacher. He is Deathlord's partner in a team known as the Satanic Forces.

Kati's devastating headbutt puts down Talon. Preacher comes in and meets the same fate. Talisman and Kati work over Preacher. Talon has to make the save twice as Preacher is taking a beating. He will not give up though and keeps kicking out. Kati slams him on the floor and Preacher can't make the tag. Somehow he makes the tag and Talon's offense doesn't last for long. Preacher gets his first offense of the match off the top rope. Kati's headbutt puts Preacher down again, but he misses the deathjump and Preacher unbelievably gets a three-count to win the match.

L: New GWF Hall of Fame inductee Exo-King gets to draw the next match. How'd he pull Jack of Diamonds name out of the hat? Hydrax will join him to go up against Daeman and Erebus. How are the Ninja Assassins going to react to being on oppositie teams?

A double clothesline puts Jack and Erebus down. Jack gets up and lands the Diamond Cut. Hydrax puts on the Death Point Strike and ends the match. Maleph is in the face of Darkos until the Assassins run him and Erebus off. We may have an I-P tag-title match in the makings after this one.

L: Badger and Ram will draw for the final match of the Battle Bowl series. Splatter and Ursa Major. That's a nice team, can you get two more different guys than that? They will meet the only two left, Dynamo and the Soldier of Fortune.

Ursa brings Dynamo to the corner and tags Splatter. Just like that the match is over and the Soldier tries to get his licks in on Splatter before he leaves.

R: Johnny here and I'm very happy to talk to in my opinion the greatest of all-time, Thantos.

THANTOS (T): You are correct, I am the greatest. 7-time GWF champion. I harken back to an earlier time, since we are honoring the GWF and wrestling history. History records that a man named Bret "the Hitman" Hart claimed to be the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. Well, he was mistaken. He couldn't foresee a wrestler of my greatness would ever come along. I helped build the GWF to where it is today and I'm very proud of that.

L: The first of four title matches is up next. Skinhead defends the CPC Cruiserweight title against CPC member of the Outcasts the Mad Jester.

It's all Jester at the start with a flurry of offense for the first few minutes with two near falls. Skinhead rallies but misses a dive to the floor. He blocks Jester's slam into the post and gets a two-count back inside. The match goes back-and-forth before Skinhead applies the sleeper out of nowhere then the Bad Attitude for the win to retain the title.

L: Archon defends the GWF Cruiserweight strap against Blacklash. Archon quickly applies the chicken wing suplex, but Blacklash retreats to the floor where he gains the upper hand. Archon recovers and takes the match down to the mat. From there he uses the sleeper hold too and gets the win.

MASS: Now, it's time for Battle Bowl. Things are getting good.

Preacher gets to show some offense and powers Hydrax out of the ring. Powerhouse is working over the Dragonmaster. Vyper almost has Jack out, and Splatter still has arsenal and he nails Holocaust and eliminates him. Maxx Juice takes over on Vanity. The Creeper and Ursa Major are going back and forth. Solar Hawk almost has Halcon Oro out. Talon eliminates Karah.

Powerhouse almost has Dragonmaster tossed. Jack has the Preacher in trouble. Maxx Juice goes after Powerhouse and throws him out. The Creeper and Vanity square off while Vyper has Ursa down. Dragonmaster makes the save, but Vyper throws out the veteran Titan. Jack and Oro face off while Preacher throws out Solar Hawk. Ursa and Talon double team Splatter. Oro eliminates Jack, but gets attacked by Preacher. Vanity and Creeper are still going at it. Vyper throws out his second Titan in Ursa. Splatter and Vyper, the CPC tag-champs, work over Talon. Juice and Preacher are on Oro. Preachers hits the Human Sacrifice and eliminates both Halcon Oro and Maxx Juice.

Vanity gets away from Creeper and hits Preacher, but Vyper comes over and eliminates Creeper. Splatter goes after Vanity, then almost has Preacher out. Vyper eliminates Talon, he tossed all three Titans. We're down to four men.

The three CPC members go after the Preacher. He somehow hangs on, but Splatter levels him and Vanity by accident and send both of them out. Preacher made a great showing for himself, lasting to the final four and throwing out four wrestlers of his own. Now, Splatter and Vyper don't take too long to start fighting. Splatter's slight power advantage helps him toss Vyper to win Battle Bowl.

L: Splatter joins past Battle Bowl winners Galactic Punisher and Brute. I was Brute's partner in the tag-team match to get to Battle Bowl. We defeated the Mutant and Death Masque.

MASS: Yeah, but this one was easier. Back then they had more people in it and it was a double ring battle royal.

L: Two title matches left. Up next is the tag-team title match.

MASS: I know all about tag-team gold. The Rebel Empire are a tough team, and I don't like those guys in the masks.

Vendetta starts out strong and levels Comedy of the Theatre of Pain. He gets a 2-count, but the Assassins are able to make the tag before getting into too much trouble but can't get on offense. The Assassin team comes back and gets both Vendetta and Nefarus down. Tragedy picks up the pace and puts away Nefarus to regain the GWF tag-team titles.

MASS: I can't believe those guys won. I miss the old days.

L: The 30-man Royal Rumble is next. Every two minutes a new wrestler will enter the ring. Past winners of the Royal Rumble were Tongsoon, Exo-King, Spike and Alpha Force.

MASS: Notice another Gladiator on that list.

The wrestlers to start the Royal Rumble are the U.S. Patriot and Chaos! Bad luck for those two. Chaos goes right to work and almost has Patriot out when #3 Paragon comes in. Paragon hits a power bomb and shoulder tackle and almost has Chaos out. Paragon's looking for revenge after Chaos put him on the shelf following their match at Clash of the Champions XV.

The Patriot goes after Paragon as #4 Rack of Desolation Factor enters the ring. Patriot and Paragon fight while Chaos and Rack go at it. Rack saves Paragon from elimination and tosses out the U.S. Patriot. Chaos needs some help in here, but the next entrant is Mandrill. No help there. Mandrill attacks Chaos while the CPC rest up. No. 6 to come in is the NgO Mollock. The former bodyguard of Terak has struck out on his own and is cleaning house. He nails Mandrill, then the big boot knocks Rack out of the ring. Mollock then goes after Paragon while Chaos and Mandrill renew old rivalries.

Dark Justice comes in at #7 and fights Mandrill. Chaos and Mollock double team Paragon, but he hangs on until Mike Fortune comes in. Fortune goes after D. Justice and Mandrill, as Paragon eliminates Mollock. Next in is Terminus and he nails Mandrill. D. Justice and Fortune are fighting, and Paragon finally tosses Chaos. Greg Valentine comes in at #10 as Terminus takes over on Mandrill. Fortune and D. Justice are still fighting and Valentine works on a tiring Paragon.

Mayhem is in at #11 and goes wild. Seven men are in at one time, the most so far. Terminus almost has Mandrill out, and Mayhem finishes the job. Valentine knocks Terminus out before Mayhem can help. Mayhem puts the hurting on Valentine as Prodigy comes in to help. The Hammer rallies and dumps Prodigy out of the ring. Mayhem and Fortune pick things up as D. Justice tosses Valentine, then catches Paragon and eliminates the CPC big man.

No. 13 is Goliath of the SWA, a 7 foot 8, 425 lb. monster. He pounds on D. Justice but can't get him out. Mayhem jumps Goliath and throws him over the top rope. Overkill hits the ring and goes right after Mayhem. The big avalanche in the corner and Overkill dumps out Mayhem. Fortune has D. Justice in trouble and the Interplanetary champion Heracles is in. No he's out as Overkill just picked him up and threw him out. Fortune, Overkill and D. Justice continue to battle as #16 the Matador comes in. Matador hooks up with Overkill, and Fortune hits Dark Justice and Overkill, eliminating both of them.

Fortune has the Matador down as Vengeance comes in and joins him. They double team Matador and toss him. Fortune knocks Vengeance out, leaving him alone with #18 Janus. They fight until Thunder comes in. Anarchy is next in. Thunder and Janus fight as Fortune recovers to eliminate Anarchy. No. 21 the Draconian Sheik enters the ring and dumps Mike Fortune who had been in the longest so far during the Royal Rumble.

Thunder and Janus are still battling as Spike comes in. Janus sees him and dumps him out just like that. The Sheik gets Thunder out to the floor leaving just two again.Vector One is double teamed by Janus and the Sheik. Ruin comes in as Janus throws out Vector One. Ruin takes care of the Sheik, leaving the CPC members to wait for #25 Blazing Skull. The TV champion doesn't stick around long as he gets double teamed and eliminated.

Phantast arrives and fights off the CPC duo. Painmaster enters as Janus throws out Phantast. Painmaster fights off Ruin as #28 Pulsar comes in. Janus throws out Pulsar and awaits the next victim. Ruin and Janus go at Painmaster until Manslaughter enters. Ruin quickly throws out Manslaughter, and the last man is Wolf.

Wolf tosses out Ruin as Painmaster occupies Janus. Wolf then takes care of the Painmaster, leaving him and Janus the final two combatants. Janus is wiping the ring with Wolf but can't eliminate him. Wolf somehow comes back to win the Royal Rumble for the GWF.

L: What a win for Wolf and the GWF. You gotta love his heart and determination.

MASS: I'll give him his props. I've fought with and against him, and you don't get anymore intense.

L: Now, the main event. Colossus and Pegasus for the GWF title.

The top two superstars in the GWF, with Star Warrior and Thantos at ringside. It doesn't get any better than this. It's even early on, but Colossus takes over and gets the first two count. Pegasus is almost counted out of the ring but makes it back in. Colossus is really intense, hitting several different finishers. Pegasus comes back when they fall to the outside. Pegasus hits his finisher but Thantos interferes. Pegasus is then caught by Colossus, but Star Warrior stops the count. The two go back and forth, and Pegasus lands his finisher again and 1, 2, 3! Pegasus regains the GWF title for the 4th time!

R: Pegasus, you've proven the GWF is better than the CPC on its most important night.

PEGASUS: I had to win tonight. There was no way I could lose. The fans, all the wrestlers, the hall of famers, there was just no way I could let Colossus keep the GWF title. I'm sure I'll be seeing him again, but right now I got the gold and I'm going to keep it!

MASS: I think I could handle both of these guys. I've been where Pegasus is, he looks good with the belt.

L: What a night. I'd like to thank everyone for joining us and allowing me to be a part of Battle Royal Mania. Till next time, good night.
