The Galaxian Wrestling Federation made its way back home after spending two years on Centra. The GWF gave the fans a one-night tournament to determine the new heavyweight champion. The GWF had already started up six independent promotions to run under their banner, and selected wrestlers from those organizations were also entered into the tournament.
