2115 NEWS REPORTS

Here is how the GWF is shaping up for me in 2115 following the Sudden Death banishments.

With both the GWF Coalition and the Titans losing Sudden Death, that put the FDF as the top hero team in the promotion. Commando Sam had no problem stepping up to meet the threat of the Fourth Realm and the Brymstonians.

Archon is ready to meet Godsend head on. Atys Tetrac will face Slayer, and Stars & Stripes will need to prove they're a top tag team when they go up against the Great Evil.

The Titans have gone through a lot of changes following their Sudden Death loss. Not only is Lord Nexus banished for life, but he also banished Scion Nexus for the next two years. He just didn't come through in a high-profile feud with Eclipse.

Ursa Major has assumed the leadership role for the team. The Titans are making the best of things and moving on. Joining the team are Atman, Max Shield and Talon from the CPC. They are ready to take on the Genesis Coalition. Titan Honor battles the Colonizer Empire, Wraith fights Atman, Hyper meets Talon and Genocide will war with Max Shield.

Card #1,011 was the first in 2115 for the GWF. It featured all wrestlers who had been banished after Sudden Death, or were leaving the promotion of their own volition.

Clash of the Champions 19 took place at the Rigel Noval Pavillion, Orion, on card #1,015 in GWF history. This was the first major event of 2115. It featured a one-night, 16-man tournament for the Galaxian Heavyweight Title, on free tv!

Colonizer Empire kicked things off with a win over Titan Honor.

In his first title defense, GWF TV champion Mike Fortune dropped the belt to Hyper!

Warfare easily ensnared Nth Degree to win a Hunter's Prey Match and a spot on the Thrill of the Chase team.

Eclipse overcame the attack of the CPC's Talon to retain the GWF Cruiserweight title.

Ventross regained the I-P title by beating Colossus.

Pegasus & Minotaur downed the Creatures of Lamia to retain the I-P Tag titles. Pegasus & Minotaur double teamed Cyclopes, as neither Turge nor Minotaur were ever legally in the ring.

The Gladiators defeated Desolation Factor by DQ to retain their GWF tag titles.

Stars & Stripes, Atman and Blazing Skull def. the Fourth Realm. It was actually a tag match as Stars & Stripes beat the Great Evil, with none of the other four wrestlers getting in the ring.

GWF Title Tournament

First Round

(1) Vyper weathered a strong early attack from (16) Wraith to reacht the quarterfinals.

(5) Archon had little trouble from (12) Disaster and forced a submission.

(7) Draconian Sheik took an awesome beating from (10) Genocide, and moved on with a DQ win. The Sheik did hand out some punishment of his own via a foreign object to cut up Genocide quite good.

(3) Wolf started out with a nice win over (14) Encubus.

(4) Max Shield somehow withstood the onslaught of (13) Killprey and reached the second round.

(8) Bloodline eliminated (9) Tanck.

(11) Atys Tetrac upset his former tag team partner, (6) Euritar.

(15) Mandrill moved past (2) Thunder. After scoring the win, Malice, Overkill and Disaster all hit the ring and put a hurting on Mandrill. The Colonizer came away with only a minor injury, but still had to continue the tournament.

Quarterfinals

Vyper took down Archon.

Wolf ousted Draconian Sheik.

Max Shield disposed of Bloodline.

An injured Mandrill scored the win over Atys Tetrac.

Semifinals

Wolf got rid of Vyper.

Mandrill again wouldn't go away and beat his hated enemy, Max Shield.

Finals

The finals pitted Animen Wolf and Mandrill against each other. Although they are on the same team in 2115, neither minded facing off for the title. The championship match was 2/3 Falls.

Wolf had the early advantage, and continued his attack. Both men continually went to the floor, and finally it cost Mandrill when he was DQed, giving Wolf the first fall.

After that Mandrill didn't seem to notice he was injured. The title was in his grasp, and he didn't let it slip away. Mandrill won the next two falls by pin to become the new GWF Champion. This is the first Galaxian Title for Mandrill.

The Lethal Lottery: Battle Bowl will take on even more importance this year because the winners in the tag team portion of the event gain entry into the Royal Rumble.

60 wrestlers were randomly drawn into six-man tag-team combinations. Each match will be one fall, Titan Death Matches, with the added stipulation that the match can not end until all three wrestlers on each team have been legally in the match. That way there will be no quick pins with two men standing on the apron never getting into the action.

Lethal Lottery Six-Man Matches

Tortured Soul, Slayer, Vyper vs. Turge, Taurine, Talon

Here's some short results from Battle Bowl: Lethal Lottery. The three wrestlers from each winning six-man tag match are the 30 men to be in the Royal Rumble. The man who scored the pinfall gets to draw from #'s 21-30

Here are the 10 wrestlers that will enter the Rumble at the end.

Vyper
Disaster
Ruin
Eclipse
Atys Tetrac
Wraith
Encubus

Lots of great matches here. The losing team members will be in a 30-man battle royal, while the winning teams go into a double-ring battle royal to see who will win Battle Bowl.

From the Lethal Lottery:

Tortured Soul, Slayer & Vyper def. Turge, Taurine & Talon when Vyper hit the Sideshow on Taurine.

Rack, Blade & Petarra def. Mutant, Mensar & Tauran after double teaming and the Burial by Petarra on Mensar.

The winners of the Lethal Lottery six-man tag matches advanced to Battle Bowl -- a 30-man Double Ring Battle Royals. Once eliminated from ring 1, you go get in ring 2. After being tossed from the second ring you are out of Battle Bowl.

Mandrill was virtually unstoppable on this night. He threw out eight wrestlers from ring one before being tossed by Vyper. Mandrill and Vyper were the final two men in ring 1. Vyper had four eliminations.

In ring 2, it wsa Rack that dumped five men from the competition. I-P champion Ventross threw out three from the second ring. Mandrill won the second ring battle royal by tossing Cyclopes and then Atman.

Vyper and Mandrill then squared off to see who would win Battle Bowl. After trading moves, Vyper took over on offense and was unrelenting in his attack. Mandrill couldn't get away and Vyper eliminated Mandrill to win Battle Bowl.

Others with three eliminations were Genocide in ring 1 and Mandrill in ring 2. Mandrill had 11 all together.

The last 10 men in ring 1 were Vyper, Mandrill, Colossus, Eclipse, Overkill, Atman, Atys Tetrac, Ventross, Petarra and Cyclopes.

The last 10 men in ring 2 were Mandrill, Atman, Cyclopes, Ventross, Colossus, Ruin, Atys Tetrac, Disaster, Eclipse and Vendetta.

Mandrill blasted both Cyclopes and Atman out of the ring at the same time to leave himself and Vyper in ring 1. Genocide knocked out Bloodline and Disaster from the first rin in one move.

Disaster eliminated Nefarus and Vendetta, GWF tag champs, with one powerful move. Rack took out Encubus and Genocide and the same time.

The same 30 men who were in Battle Bowl will be the entries for the Royal Rumble.

Following the Lethal Lottery six-man tag matches, the losing wrestlers from each went into a 30-man battle royal.

Those who turned in a good performance were: American Guy - he threw out TV champ Hyper as the second man eliminated, and later tossed Blazing Skull. A. Guy was dumped at the same time with Mensar by Warfare at #21, so there were nine men left when A. Guy went out.

Archon was on fire and was a favorite to win as the match went on. He threw out Tanck, Mike Fortune and Romulus, and when he hit the floor courtesy of Killprey there were only five men left.

Euritar eliminated Nth Degree and the Draconian Sheik before getting dumped by Warfare with four left in the match.

The match came down to Thrill of the Chase members Warfare, Vengeance and Killprey against Taurine. Needless to say, Taurine had no chance and it was soon the three team members left in the ring.

This team is based on competition, and a triple threat match ensued between the three partners. Killprey threw out Vengeance and then Warfare to win the battle royal.

Killprey tossed the U.S. Male, Archon, Vengeance and Warfare. Warfare ousted Wolf, Amer. Guy, Mensar, Talon and Euritar. Vengeance took out Anarchy and Taurine.

The Thrill of the Chase team are on a roll right now. Killprey and Vengeance are the I-P tag champs, and with Puma they make up the six-man champs. Puma is rapidly climbing the rankings and will be in a Triple Threat match for the GWF title against Mandrill and champion Thunder.

A big TV event was held the day after Battle Bowl. Vyper talked about his big win at Battle Bowl, throwing out Mandrill to win the double ring battle royal. He wanted to know why Mandrill, Puma, Archon and others were being talked about as GWF title contenders and he wasn't. He wouldn't be relegated to I-P or TV title matches anymore.

Soulwatcher had eliminated Nightmare and Slayer from the second ring at Battle Bowl. He went one on one with Slayer to open the card. After a good back and forth contest, Slayer got the better of Soulwatcher on the outside and won by a count out.

Genocide and Wraith dominated Avalanche, never allowing a tag to Cyclone. The Genesis Coalition team took an easy win.

Blazing Skull took on Cyclopes, but could do very little against him. The giant won a big singles match for him.

The undefeated Great Evil faced the Penthouse Punks. The Punks never got any offense going and were disqualified.

Warfare pounded away on Minotaur and got the win.

Pegasus went up against Godsend in a Falls Count Anywhere match. For awhile this one could have gone either way, but it was Godsend taking the win.

The Next Generation wanted to see where they stand in the tag ranks and took on Desolation Factor. This was a standout match, and Thantos' team made a statement by beating Rack and Ruin.

In a top 10 contenders match, Mensar demolished Max Shield.

The first of a double main event was the Colonizers defending the GWF tag titles against the Gladiators. Malice and Overkill worked over Vendetta, never allowing a tag. Nefarus broke up the pin more than once and got his team DQed.

GWF champion Thunder had not been performing as such in recent weeks. He had to defend against Mandrill and Puma in a Triple Threat Match. Puma was on the fast track to the gold, but Mandrill has been even hotter. The Colonizer crushed Puma with ease and eliminated him. He then never gave Thunder a chance to breathe and blasted the Gladiator and regained the Galaxian heavyweight title.

Mandrill announced that he would fulfill all of Thunder's obligations before the Royal Rumble and would defend the belt against Archon next week. He also said Vyper would get a shot at the title the following week.

Fans saw some great GWF action following Vyper's win at Battle Bowl. Mandrill had a great performance in the double ring battle royal, and promptly went out and won a Triple Threat match against Puma and Thunder to win the GWF title. He promised title matches to Archon and Vyper. Archon proved to be no match for Mandrill, and the following week it was Vyper's turn.

Vyper gave Mandrill a serious challenge, and the Colonizer ended up getting DQed. That forced a Lumberjack Match, where Vyper again controlled the match, came through with the upset, and won the Galaxian title.

In the few weeks between Battle Bowl and the upcoming Royal Rumble:

Genocide & Wraith have meshed into a very competent tag team, and are likely to get a shot at the I-P tag titles after the Rumble. They defeated Elemental Fury, the Animen Horde, Titan Honor by DQ before being upset by the Animen Invasion.

Cyclopes has gone into singles wrestling and has beaten Blazing Skull and Nth Degree.

The Great Evil and the Penthouse Punks engaged in a series of matches. The first went to the Fourth Real duo by DQ, then the Punks won a quick fall on the Great Evil. A 2/3 falls match was signed, where the Great Evil prevailed 2-1.

The Gladiators and the Colonizer Empire continue to battle over the tag belts. The Colonizers were DQed in a title rematch, but retained the belts against Malice & Overkill in a Gutarr Stick Match.

Hyper put his TV title on the line against Mike Fortune, and won by DQ. The rematch was a Titan Death Match where Hyper came away with the win.

Dreggs made his defense of the Cruiserweight title against former champion Eclipse. Eclipse dominated this one, but only won by a count out.

In other grudge matches: Godsend beat Pegasus in a Falls Count Anywhere match and Wolf defeated Puma in a Deneb Dog Collar Match. Archon & Atys Tetrac won against Godsend & Slayer.

Bloodline, Encubus & Eclipse met Mensar, Euritar & Tanck in a six-man elimination match. Takeover won three straight falls as the whole team survived.

Up next from the Warrior Village Coliseum - Aethra, on card #1,030 is the Royal Rumble. The Lethal Lottery portin of Battle Bowl determined not only the 30 men involved in the rumble, but the last 10 men to enter the ring.

The 10 wrestlers who will draw from #'s 21-30 are: Vyper, Encubus, Eclipse, Disaster, Atys Tetrac, Ruin, Soulwatcher, Petarra, Genocide and Wraith.

The other 20 participants are: Mandrill, Bloodline, Thunder, Godsend, Slayer, Antak, Cyclopes, Blade, Rack, Nefarus, Pegasus, Colossus, Malice, Vendetta, Overkill, Puma, Atman, Ventross, Nightmare, and Tortured Soul.

There will also be six matches, including three title matches, prior to the Royal Rumble.

Dreggs (Cwt. CH) vs. British Bomber
Mensar vs. Mutant & Tauran
Wolf vs. Warfare
Killprey & Vengeance (I-P Tag CH) vs. Elemental Fury
Hyper (TV Ch) vs. Draconian Sheik
Blazing Skull vs. Anarchy (Ring of Fire Match)

The British Bomber has been on a roll, winning a triple threat match against Talon and Sabernotch to get the title shot at the Rumble.

Mensar wants to punish the two men who were his partners in the Lethal Lottery at Battle Bowl for costing him a spot in the Rumble.

The two Brymstonians elevate their feud to a Ring of Fire Match. The Skull has already won a Brymstone Burial Match against his former partner.

Nobody could have predicted the outcome of the Royal Rumble. Taking place at the Warrior Village Coliseum on Aethra, the backdrop set the stage for one of the greatest individual efforts in GWF history.

The Gladiator Thunder drew #1 to enter the Royal Rumble. With help from Overkill at #5, Malice at #7, and Disaster at #24, Thunder survived to the end and eliminated GWF heavyweight champion Vyper to win the Royal Rumble.

The Gladiators stamped their mark on this event, as the four men combined to throw out 15 of the other 26 competitors. Thunder tossed out six, Disaster six, Malice two and Overkill one.

Thantos was very upset that his men could not win, as Encubus, Eclipse and Vyper drew #'s 28, 29 and 30. Thantos did acknowledge the outstanding effort by Thunder, and was confidant in Vyper's ability to successfully defend the title against the former champion.

Thunder started the match against Cyclopes. Pegasus, Blade and Overkill were next, and each came in and helped attack Cyclopes. Overkill was able to knock out the giant. He was quickly dumped by Blade.

Malice joined Thunder and #7 and stayed in the ring until being eliminated by Genocide after 21 men had entered the match.

Disaster pulled #24 and was a one-man wrecking crew. After getting rid of Encubus and Eclipse, it left Thunder and Disaster against Vyper. Vyper got rid of Disaster, leaving it one-on-one. Thunder wouldn't be denied the ultimate glory of winning the Royal Rumble in front of his loyal fans.

Also at the Royal Rumble: Dreggs narrowly escaped with his GWF Cruiserweight title in a match against the British Bomber.

Mensar defeated Mutant and Tauran.

Warfare upset Wolf.

I-P tag champs Killprey and Vengeance defeated Elemental Fury by countout.

TV champion Hyper was DQed against the Draconian Sheik.

Blazing Skull defeated Anarchy in a Ring of Fire Match.

2115 came to an end with the Survivor Series from the Andromeda Nebula Pavilion on card #1,040. It was an amazing night of elimination action, seeing who had the endurance to survive.

GAME NOTE: these matches were all really long and fun to play. It took me four days to finish the card.

The British Bomber (nGo) opened the card by defending the Cruiserweight title against Halcon Oro. The champion maintained control of the match, and after planting Oro with a tombstone nailed a tremendous dive on the floor, sending Oro into the railing. The Bomber then came off the top rope and landed two missile headbutts for the pin.

Up next was a tag-team elimination match between Crush & Rouser and the Mutant & Tauran. Rouser eliminated Tauran with the Xenophobia. The Mutant evened the match by getting rid of Rouser with a Temple Grinder. The Mutant won the match after pinning Crush with a face mangler.

Next was the women's survivor series match. Lorelei, Anaxis, Sabre, Sniper & Xenia vs. Hunger, Serpentine, Maxine Babe, Draconian Chic & Annabelle (nGo).

The first elimination came when Hunger was DQed for biting. Sniper then beat the immense Annabelle with a series of bolt action punches. Sabre then beat the Draconian Chic with Sensitivity Training. Sniper finished Serpentine with Target Practice and Sabre used her finisher to pin Maxine Babe to end the match. The entire team survived for the victory.

The second women's match was a Triple Threat encounter between Amazonia, Thrash and Shann-Ra. This match was one fall instead of elimination. In the end it was Thrash pinning Amazonia with the Femme Fatale.

The cruiserweights came out for their survivor series elimination match. Soulwatcher, Varsity, Thayne, Zed Marlowe & Stigma vs. Blizzard, Suicide Kid (nGo), Ahnu, Molotok & Lycosa.

The high-flying action started with the Suicide Kid pinning Soulwatcher after a deathjump. Ahnu came off the top to eliminate Stigma, making it 5-on-3. Varsity used the PCD to finish Lycosa. Molotok then beat Zed Marlowe with the Bayonet and used a rolling cradle to pin Thayne, making the match a 4-on-1 against Varsity. The former 2-time Cruiserweight champion beat both Molotok and Ahnu with the PCD. He then pinned the Suicide Kid with a german suplex. Varsity went back and forth with Blizzard. Blizzard connected with the frozen lariat twice and had to use the Ice Attack twice before eliminating Varsity to win the match. Blizzard was the soul survivor.

The night continued with Ventross (I-P champ), Dreggs, Pegasus, Atman & Nth Degree vs. Draconian Sheik (TV champ), Tortured Soul, Cyclopes, Turge & Necros.

A brawl on the outside resulted in the quick departure of Nth Degree as the result of a count out after getting blasted by the Sheik. Atman then took the brunt of the Sheik's attack, but the wildman was DQed. Ventross got rid of Tortured Soul with the ravager gut buster. Dreggs eliminated Turge following the nuclear charge. Cyclopes crushed Dreggs with a power slam. Atman used the Third Eye to beat Necros, leaving Cyclopes alone against three men. After quite a while it was Atman's art of war that beat Cylopes. Ventross, Pegasus & Atman are your survivors.

Now it was time for the giant tag-team elimination match, with 10 tag team combinations. Elemental Fury, Animen Horde, Fists of Fire, Jade Dynasty (nGo) & Raven & Wildcat vs. Desolation Factor, Penthouse Punks, Assassin Underground, Armageddon (NGo) and Miguel "Hurricane" Rana & El Dueno del Ring (nGo). When a man is eliminated, his partner is gone as well.

Saboteur pinned Raven after a bulldog, but he pulled Raven's leg off the ropes and the match continued. Saboteur then used the ropes for leverage to eliminate Raven. The double team finisher by Assassin Underground and then the Drawbridge by Sentinel beat Avalanche. Taurine used the propulsion piledriver to down Pendekar for a 5 team against 2 advantage. Swarm pinned Taurine after the Hornet's Sting. The Animen Drop then finished off Slaughterhouse. The Jade Dynasty evened the match after a double face first suplex on Saboteur. The match came down to two teams after Akuma and Rack were DQed. El Dueno del Ring beat Swarm to win the match as the soul survivors with Miguel Rana.

The first big team feud was the Titans against the Genesis Coalition. Max Shield, Kaos (Next Generation), Talon, Ursa Major & Blade vs. Nefarus, Vendetta, Genocide, Wraith & Hyper.

Ursa Major hit Titan Death to quickly eliminate Wraith. Hyper's Berserk Assault beat the debuting Kaos. Talon and Genocide were both DQed. Nefarus got the submission from Ursa Major with the boston crab. The Colonizers finished Blade with the Empire Triumphant. Max Shield landed the Omicron Force to pin Hyper. Nefarus was DQed after double teaming on Shield. Vendetta downed Max Shield with a jackhammer to win as the soul survivor.

The major feud between the FDF and the Fourth Realm was next. Archon, Atys Tetrac, Blazing Skull & Stars & Stripes vs. Godsend, Slayer, Anarchy & the Great Evil (GWF Tag champs).

First to go was Petarra after Heads will Roll by Atys Tetrac. Nightmare's Black Death and then a fallaway slam beat the U.S. Male. Archon's Riot Act pinned Slayer, and then the Elbow Hyperextension finished Godsend. Nightmare used the Black Death on Blazing Skull, then American Guy pinned Nightmare with American Firepower. Anarchy was left 3-on-1, but somehow beat Atys Tetrac, Archon and American Guy with Gehenna's Gate to win the match as the soul survivor.

Takeover against the Angry Young Men then entered the ring. Mensar, Euritar, Mike Fortune & Tanck vs. Vyper (GWF champ), Bloodline, Encubus & Eclipse.

Mensar immediately pinned Bloodline with the Wrecking Machine. Euritar eliminated the champion Vyper with Heads will Roll. Encubus used the Second Coming to pin Euritar. Mensar crushed Eclipse with his finisher to make it 3-on-1. Mike Fortune's 6:00 Suplex eliminated Encubus. Mensar, Mike Fortune & Tanck are the survivors.

Main event time. A Triple Threat Steel Cage Elimination Match. The Gladiators vs. The Animen vs. The Thrill of the Chase. Thunder, Disaster, Malice & Overkill vs. Mandrill, Wolf, Minotaur & Wolfen vs. Killprey, Vengeance, Puma & Warfare.

This one was all out war. The Fields of Malice downed Wolfen early on in the match. Mandrill's Claw Slam beat Disaster and then Overkill, leaving the Gladiators with two men. Warfare pinned Thunder with a spinebuster leaving only Malice for the Gladiators. Then Puma's Sidesweep eliminated the Gladiators. Mandrill's choke slam beat Killprey and the Minoatur Charge fell Warfare. Minotaur then used the Horns of Neron to pin Puma, and Wolf's moonsault beat Vengeance to win the match. Mandrill, Wolf and Minotaur are the survivors.
